Marsh-Picture

From Miss Marsh, a patient pictured above:

I was admitted to Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County on November 18, 2016, on a Friday afternoon in a great deal of pain due to a total knee replacement. The surgery had developed some complications. I was not only hurting physically, but emotionally as well. The staff immediately took over and all of my needs were met.

The staff in the therapy department is marvelous. Words cannot describe how great they were to me. They had the ability to encourage me with persistence, while showing love and compassion that was so evident.

In five days I was able to go from the conditions in which I was admitted for, to being able to walk efficiently with a walker, almost independently and also being able to take care of myself physically. The success I have achieved has also contributed to a better mental condition.

I went home on Monday, November 28, 2016. I am so thankful for what the physical therapist, occupational therapist, and nursing staffs have done for me.

I will be returning back to Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County for ongoing outpatient therapy, and I look forward to getting even better!
