Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County achieves highest standard!

Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County, a premier 175-bed skilled rehabilitation care center, is the proud recipient of a 2016 Deficiency Free Survey from the State of Tennessee Department of Health. This rare and difficult to achieve certification is awarded only to select skilled nursing facilities that demonstrated very strong workplace competencies, including clean, well maintained facilities. Such an outstanding achievement is made possible only by the daily commitment and dedication of the exceptional staff at Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County.

These unannounced, yearly surveys serve to evaluate the overall quality of care and living expectations at these nursing facilities and are a great assessment tool for perspective residents, their families, and others to make more informed decisions about a skilled nursing facility.

Due to increasingly stringent regulations, obtaining this certification is neither easy nor common. “With close to 16,000 nursing facilities in the USA, there are less than 10% who annually receive a deficiency free survey,” stated Lee Rooney CEO. “The average facility in Tennessee receives six to eight annual deficiencies. Last year on our 2015 annual survey we received just one deficiency, now this year we were perfect. We take great pride in ensuring not only the highest levels of patient care and quality, but also work to maintain a safe, clean, and home-like environment,” added Rooney.
Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County, located at 278 Dry Valley Road in Algood, provides 24-hour comprehensive inpatient care to adults of all ages. Signature also provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and hospice care.
