Adventure comes in all shapes and sizes and this week it is in the form of a Washington D.C. vacation for 63 Elders and Stakeholders of Signature HealthCARE. The teams comprised of individuals from Kentucky, North Carolina, and Florida set off to learn more about our nation’s history by spending the week in Washington D.C.

Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County Donates to CHS Health Science Program
Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County recently donated 2 electric beds as well as numerous CNA training supplies to the Cookeville High School Health Science Department. Accepting the much needed supplies were Clif Matlock, Principal at CHS; as well as Emily Morgan, Instructor at CHS for Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Livingston. On hand to make the donation was Lee Rooney, CEO of Signature. “This was a wonderful opportunity to help this great program at Cookeville High School. These are our future doctors and nurses, so they need the very best in equipment and supplies” stated Rooney.

CRMC and Signature HealthCARE Partner to Improve Patient Outcomes
Cookeville, Tn. – December 6, 2017 – Regional health care centers are teaming up to better prevent hospital readmissions. The new effort rises out of increasing instances of sepsis and hospital readmissions in local patients from health care centers. The collaboration is a partnership between CRMC, Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County, Signature HealthCARE of Fentress County, Signature HealthCARE of Pickett County, Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center, and the Upper Cumberland Transitions Coalition.
SHC of Putnam County Recognizes Hall of Fame Inductees
Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County recently celebrated the induction of 4 new members to their Hall of Fame.
Hall of Fame Inductees:
Hometown hero Elia Johnson has served as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 20 years. She is a compassionate caregiver at home and at work.
Navy veteran and retired police detective Thomas Williams is an accomplished artist and Tennessee native.
Pastor Ted Kocher serves the residents and community of Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County as a valued volunteer and volunteer recruitment liaison.
Army veteran Paul Fehr was an ardent lover of classic cars and a recipient of the U.S. Army Certificate of Achievement for Outstanding Leadership.
