Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County is proud to announce that it has received accreditation for 2017 as a skilled nursing facility actively performing Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
The accreditation, presented by independent accreditor Providigm, demonstrates that the facility is continually assessing residents’ quality of life with regard to concerns such as pain, dignity, respect for resident choice and quality of care matters such as adequate staffing, weight loss, infections, rehabilitation following acute injury or illness, and prevention of hospital readmissions.
Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County received an Advanced Accreditation, a recognition that it has received for the third year in a row. The award identifies nursing facilities with an “extremely thorough and consistent process of quality improvement work,†according to Providigm.
“We couldn’t be prouder of our team of caregivers for the compassionate, quality care they work so hard to offer, which is reflected by this accreditation,†said Lee Rooney, CEO/Administrator. “These accreditations also demonstrate Signature’s commitment to becoming a valued partner to providers from every facet of health care as our nation’s health care system continues to undergo massive change with a heightened focus on quality improvement.â€
