Residents of Signature Healthcare of Putnam County participated in an Olympic Send-Off Party

Residents dressed Greek-era apparel, complete with toga and olive leaf crowns, and learned about the history of the Olympic games while enjoying refreshments. 

Four residents and four staff members from the Putnam County facility traveled to Westmoreland, Tenn. to compete against other Signature facilities in Signature’s annual Senior Olympics.

The theme for the games was “Destination Vacation.” There was winners for each of nine events, as well as awards for best costume, best team banner, team spirit, team presentation, and overall. 

The Putnam County representatives were, Ethelene Haney, Lou Ella Talent, Caroline Defazio, and Beaulah White.
